The Heights Men's Golf Association
The Heights Men’s Golf Association (MGA) is an independent organization that coordinates tournaments for its members and provides membership in the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) for the purpose of maintaining handicaps for the members. Membership in the MGA is mandatory for the establishment of a handicap and for eligibility to play in tournaments at the club as well as at other courses.

Men's Informal Groups
The Heights Golf Club has more than a dozen informal men’s golfing groups for players of all abilities that meet weekly and are open to all who are interested. These groups are organized by our Members and are a wonderful way to meet new Members and play competitive golf. A list of these groups is maintained by the pro shop.
Women's Golf Association at The Heights
Mission Statement
The Heights Women’s Golf Association welcomes, encourages, supports and inspires women of all golf abilities and ages. We provide competitive and non-competitive golf opportunities, foster friendships and promote the game of golf.
Dues
Annual dues for membership in the WGA is $40.00, payable before January 1 of each year. With membership, a player is eligible to apply for a USGA handicap and participate in all golfing events at the club, including 18-hole play, Half Rounder (9-hole) play and club tournaments. The USGA handicap fee is billed separately in June.
Organization
The WGA is organized under member-approved Bylaws and guided by Rules and Regulations adopted by its Executive Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of eight members, elected annually in November. While the Half Rounders are all members of the WGA and the HR chair is a member of the Board of Directors, they also have their own Board of Directors to oversee their various programs, which are open to all WGA members.
WGA Golf Program
The WGA has reserved tee times open to all members, whether playing 9 or 18 holes, on both Tuesday and Thursday mornings beginning at 8:00. The Half Rounders play every Tuesday with an organized game twice a month, and 18-hole competitions are held every Thursday for those who wish to participate. Both groups schedule a monthly luncheon and meeting following a morning of golf.

Couples' Golf at The Heights
The Heights Golf Club has a variety of fun and competitive events for couples. These events are a great way to meet fellow club Members and play in mixed competitions.

About Paul
Paul has a distinguished career in club management, most recently serving as the General Manager at Aliso Viejo Country Club in Aliso Viejo, CA. Prior to Aliso Viejo, he was the GM at Pauma Valley Country Club in Pauma Valley, Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach and El Camino Country Club in Oceanside. Paul brings to BHCC an excellent skill set and an extensive background in all aspects of private club management and services, along with golf and lifestyle programming. He remains an active member of both the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) and the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA). Paul and his wife Shelley currently reside in north county San Diego and they have a son, Kelly, daughter-in-law, Erin, and a three-year-old grandson, Riot, who lives in Oceanside. Shelley is an avid horse person and an artist that loves to paint and draw. They both are animal lovers with 4 dogs and 4 horses at home. Paul and Shelley have lived locally for 10 yea...

About Taylor
A California native, Taylor grew up in a small town called Canyon Lake. She has been in the hospitality industry since 2006 when she received her first job at a local restaurant. Taylor moved to North Country San Diego to pursue her education and graduated in 2014 from California State University of San Marcos with a degree in Business Administration. Since 2011, Taylor has been serving Members at Invited. Starting off as a hostess, and moving into a serving role shortly after, Taylor has credited her customer service skills to her experiences in the hospitality industry. In January 2015, she accepted the position in Membership at Morgan Run. After a few years in the Membership role at Morgan Run, she headed over to The Heights Golf Club in June 2018 to continue her journey with Invited. Taylor lives in Oceanside, and enjoys spending time at the beach, and being outdoors. She has too many hobbies to mention, but her favorite is spending time with her family and friends.
